I agree that Origins is highly replayable, in fact I felt it was even better my 3rd and fourth playthroughs in which I had the game mastered. Learning from my character building and programming mistakes. My 2nd and 3rd playthroughs specifically I enjoyed making sure I did every little thing there was to do. Getting into every possible relationship, seeing all the endings, ect.
The game had fantastic DLC as well. Do I feel like a dope in hindsight paying about $100 for it all ...

1. Are you suggesting Google Translate isn't dirt poor? And sure, it could have very well also been a typo. Trust me, I in no way think the majority of gaming "journalists" and editors are professionals. But either way, the source for the "16Gb PS3" was a google translated article. And common sense dictates it was supposed to say 160, 250 and 500, not 16 and 250 because PS3 already comes in 160 and 250.
2. You expect me to believe that S...
I understand the video game media mentioning unsubstantiated rumors that they catch wind of. That's always been the case in gaming media, and it's always been fun to see which one's pan out and which don't. BUT...........You know.......the last couple weeks, I'm getting really sick and tired of almost all the gaming media just putting out a continuous streak of these strange opinion pieces about rumors that are based on other rumors.
It's just really w...
Batman doesn't have any special powers either. He's just a regular human being. He still kicks arse because of 1) Gadgets and training, both of which Ethan Mars would have, those Virtual glasses could add some crazy elements. And 2) Batman has the luxury of his universe being fiction, so anything can happen, Ethan Mars....since it's a video game, has that same luxury.
Kevin Butler as a boss, I think is a bit rediculous. BUT, as someone who's going to buy this ...
I think a kinda Lego Demon's Souls came out. It just wasn't called that. It was called 3-D Dot Game Heroes. Buy it!!!! It's great.
GREAT!!! I can't wait to finally play this. It's a fantastic blend of my all time favorite casual genre "brick breakers", and a RPG. My only disappointment is that it's coming to PSN in the form of a Mini title. I really wish it were a full on PSN title with trophies and maybe even online co-op.
I hope there's enough interest/sales to warrant that being the case with the next WizOrbs.
I LOVE the author's idea of Ghostbusters personally, but I think based on the 2009 Ghostbusters Video Game, which was not only a good video game in itself, but AMAZING for a Ghostbusters fan with the game having the original writers and original cast doing the game, but yet the game didn't sell great and everyone was kinda "ho-humm" about in reviews, and fans were more focused on the glitch in the PS3 version where the game was only displaying the 480p resolution version (wh...
I've been wanting to read some reviews of this controller. Fairly informative, though I wish it was specifically for the PS3 version (or both), as that's the one I'd be buying.
I had a feeling this controller was too good to be true. And I can't trust big site reviews on a product like this.....you know, with advertising deals and all that.
I had a strong feeling MadCatz wasn't going to be able to replicate the quality of Sony's first ...
And OBLIVION.
Those are the only 3 pre-trophy games I think really deserved to get a trophy update. MGS4, Heavenly Sword and Oblivion.
Heavenly Sword I understand though. It was a victim of the time. Thrashed by the media, not only the game, but PS3 at the time too, and the install base was low. So the game didn't sell great.
But neither Konami nor Bethesda have any excuse (imo) for not adding trophies to these games. There was huge deman...
Oh yeah. This is certainly not the first time an article with this idea has been published. I can remember clearly back in the days when I was subscribed to 4 different gaming magz, either PSM, OPM, EGM or GameInformer had a pretty long piece about game covers that looked the same. They went all the way back to the Atari/Coleco?Intelliv. days, right up to whenever current was in that issue, sometime last gen. The difference is, that article had somewhere around 30 or more examples of similar ...
My slightly crazy 3rd party prediction for this game, and I've said this since All-Stars was announced...........Kratos was in Mortal Kombat.......a Mortal Kombat character is going to be in All-Stars. The obvious choice for brand recognition will be Scorpion or Sub-Zero, though I think GORO would be the best fit but GORO would be tough to come up with Supers for, unlike Scorpion or Sub-Zero..
With Metal Gear Online being taken down a week or two before all these crazy announcments about MGS4 getting a bit of a revamping with Trophy support and a more modern/traditional style install.............I'm starting to wonder if maybe Metal Gear Online wasn't taken down to ALSO be revamped to match the quality of modern PS3 games. You know.....like using PSN IDs instead of those rediculous Konami IDs. Perhaps it may even get "re-released" on PSN as Free2Play or something....
I agree with you. I absolutely HATE political correctness. Political correctness hinders truth, knowledge and advancment as a species. And imo it's destroying America from the inside out.
But I have to be honest about Jaffe. I lost alot of respect for him early this year, and now believe he's a bit of a hypocrite with his anti-PC stances, here's why.......his appearance as a guest judge on this past season of The Tester.
In a challenge based aroun...
They weren't talking about DLC already. This was said at a panel when asked about DLC by someone in the crowd participating or by a media person. This was just the respose.
But if the game's got decent sales, we all know the game will absolutely have DLC characters added. It's inevitable in today's gaming scene. So since we all know it's coming probably for months after launch already, why are you up at arms already about the thought of DLC for the game? ...
Did you just say "PSN hasn't been updated since it launched in 2006"?......because if you did.......
You should hang your head in shame, sir. I would expect a Simpsons fan to be more informed about something before they open their yapper about said thing.
You seem more like a Family Guy fan to me. The way you're just repeating what someone else said first, not really coming up with that yourself.
For you to say PSN hasn'...
It would be hilarious if they did somehow incorperate it. Jack Tretton is a really kool dude and is more than happy to goof on himself, but right now I don't think Sony as a whole would allow a technical ribbing like that. I could imagine it being incorperated into a level by the screen going black with "scheduled maintenance" in big letters on the screen for like 15-30 seconds.
But I would like to point out that I think this author got a major fact right in the...
100% agree. Have a bubble.
I think GT5 is by far the best console racer. While I own GT5, there's nothing else out there worth spending my money on. So I'm MUCH happier spending a few dollars a month expanding the experience I already know is near perfection for my taste, than I would be spending $60 on a game I already know won't be as good as GT5 in terms of the most important things, like physics, and chances are I may not even like at all.

Ahhh, I see. Well, I think they'll be able to get it all working well. It seems as though the attacks are less pinpoint in this game, and more directional and AoE like a Diablo or Champions.
I guess we'll just have to wait for more gameplay videos, not just an edited montage, to see if it's going to live up to the potential I'm seeing from the current teaser. Fingers crossed.
I can't reply, I just get an error page, so I'll just reply down here
@Theo
What can't you see working about this genre on consoles? From the description of the controls in the article, they sound pretty straight forward. Much like when people say the same thing about Diablo, or MMORPGs, I don't understand why people say these games can't....or it will be hard to get to.....work on consoles. This genre is just kind of a blend between like a Cham...
Well, to be fair to GT PSP.......I understand it's shortcomings.....no tuning, no proper dealerships, and no real A-Spec. BUT.....regardless of those shortcomings, GT PSP is actually pretty great. Probably the best graphics ever on PSP, and if not, at least among the best. Everything looks great. The game has a decent amount and a good range of cars.
But to me the most amazing part of GT PSP is the rediculous number of tracks. I believe it's every GT track ever up to...
